Is feeding the cause of black specks & weak plastic products?
Matsui Hopper Loader & Blender - Aero-power®
Traditional loaders use gravity to feed plastic pellets into moulding machines and a paper or mesh filters to catch dust on the pellets.
These filters get clogged with dirt and dust which overtime stops the loader from moving, starves machine of plastic, and lets dirt/dust leak into the moulding process to cause burning.
Burning leaves black specks on your products forcing engineers to stop entire production lines to clean filters and fix machines, waste plastic and products.
Zero Filters to Clean
Zero Watts Used to Mix
50% Energy Cost Saving*
2 X Production*
Matsui’s Aero Power Hopper is a filterless system using pneumatic airflow to move, clean, and mix your plastic pellets all at the exact same time.
Strong air blows pellets against a small swinging flap inside the machine which knocks tiny microscopic dust and sucks them away.
At the exact same time, the kinetic energy of very same air tumbles and mixes different plastic colors and types together.
This dual action means pellets never have time to get separated and dusty again.
And because the air moving the pellets in being reused to mix material, zero extra electricity is needed on mixing.
Helping factories make twice as many products while wasting half the energy and resources.

Hydroscopic plastics like Nylon, PET & PC absorb moisture from their environment naturally.
During plastic pelletising, they collect dust and moisture from factory objects (wood from pallets, metal from detectors, fabric, skin etc) that are invisible to the naked eye (1/10th of a human hair).
If not removed prior to injection moulding, these foreign bodies cause huge reject numbers and weak structures in final products due to burning and residual moisture.
So why do traditional dryers and filtering hoppers not prevent burning or weak resin?
Matsui’s patented Aero-Power® and Honeycomb Rota® technology doubles the size of processing but at speed to capture foreign bodies and reduce traditional errors caused by clog filters and pressure issues.

Matsui Dryer - Honeycomb Rota®
Standard dryers push air molecules through a solid bed of desiccant beads before using to dry plastic resin.
Overtime these beads get oversaturated and need to be swapped out, passing moisture back into plastic resin (as well as dust from vibrating beads), causing variation in products, rejects, and increase engineer team time cycling beads.
Up to:
50% Faster Drying*
40% Lower Rejects*
83% Saving in Energy*
Matsui’s Honeycomb Rota has a corrugated style network of holes with baked on desiccant, that rotates continuously through 3 zones (drying, cooling and regeneration).
The larger surface of holes mean double the amount of air can pass through the system making for faster drying and using lower energy.
And the constant cycling of 3 zones mean the dew point level of the air never varies as the desiccant is being constantly regenerated.
Overall, the patented Matsui Honeycomb Rota® design allows for highly replicable moulded products with dramatically reduced rejects, higher factory ROI and less engineer assistance for troubleshooting.
